For the second year in a row, New Community is sponsoring the Kids Zone at Downtown Ashland's largest annual event "Ashland Train Day!" In 2024, we had a chance to serve +20,000 of our neighbors and their KIDS, making it an unforgettable experience! This year will be even better!
JOIN THE TEAM
Last year, we served +4000 KIDS at Ashland Train Day. This year, our goal is to have 65 people say YES to the Kids Zone Team who help host the different stations. We'll give you everything you need so you can make a difference with our community in the name of Jesus.
- Sign up for one, 3.5 hour shift (8:30 - 12:00p | 10:30 - 2:00p | 1:00- 4:30p)
- Free Ashland Train Day T-Shirt
- Background Checks required.
KIDS ZONE ACTIVITIES
At this year's Kids Zone, you can expect the following FREE activities:
- Train Ride
- Face Painting
- Yard Games
- Prize Spin Wheel
- Bounce House (ages 5 and under)
- Bound House (ages 6-12)
- Obstacle Bounce House (ages 6-12)
- Kona Ice Truck
